ill vote for anyone vs the communist lenist marxist fasisct kenyan named obama
Speaking only for myself, I’m not so much a Palin supporter. She’s simply fine by me, as are several other potential candidates.
That said, Pawlenty, Crist, Giuliani, Huckabee, and similar will not have my support unless one of them suddenly gets very old and/or very sick and decides to select an acceptable running mate (i.e. McCain+Palin situation redux). My support is not a welfare-entitlement of the GOP, and I resent insinuations to the contrary (not that I am certain this thread is meant to so provoke such defensiveness).
I'm going to stick around here and post all sorts of threads that will annoy the likes of you.
Personally I’m waiting to see who runs first and I’ll make my decision then.
However Romney, McQueeg and the rest of the bottom feeders may as well sit the next one out because they won’t get my vote.
Why do you ALWAYS hold a higher standard for ‘conservatives’ than the rest of the lazy people in this nation?
Personally, there is one big test yet for me to be in the Sarah for president column. That test is if she allows lord McCain or any other two timing candidate to hitch a ride in her chariot, I am not interested in her having a political future. I use the ‘two timing’ phrase to illustrate these politicians who court conservatives while sleeping with liberals.

2012 is irrelevent at this point, Bob. Our focus should be on 2010.
It the candidates is a RINO, I will write in Sarah Palin.
If the candidate is another good Conservative, I will vote for him/her.
Wrong!
Period.
I've done it before and the results were disastrous.
I have found that a person's position on life defines every other issue. If they cannot be trusted to protect the most innocent of human life, then they cannot be trusted with any kind of power over any other human being.
Not the best person to lead to country, mind you. This is all about using the presidency as an award to shore-up fragile egos so that some group can feel good about themselves. "See", they'll say to themselves, "somebody just like me can run the whole country!" There's no humility. Just the thrill of being affirmed.
The same thing that was done to elect the last two presidents.
The self-esteem movement has surely succeeded.
What, no opus about how long you’ve been at FR and we should bow to your thread?.....
Cry like a little girl, just like I did when Fred Thompson dropped out. After that, I don't know. Depends on the circumstances.
If the Republicans don't want Palin, I guess it depends on who the Republicans do want. If someone like Scazzofava gets nominated, I would need to find a third party. If someone with McCain's appeal gets picked, I will start throwing up and not stop for four years.
If the Democrats win big in 2010, there won't be a country left in 2012, so it won't matter.
Let's assume for a moment that we still have a country left in 2012. If it isn't Palin, give me some possibles. All I want is a conservative who can move the masses. Palin proves wherever she goes that she can. I've listened to her in several venues, and she comes across as both intelligent and sporting a great deal of common sense.
If the Republicans want someone else, let it be someone Palin-like. We can't afford any more milk-toast candidates who think they need to gain the support of the New York Times, CBS or Colin Powell.
So, are you willing to support the same old tired worn out has beens from 2008, like Romney, Huckabee, Giuliani or Paul? Or God forbid, John McCain?
Not me!
best,
vox
I will worry about the 2012 elections once the 2010 elections are behind us.
I’ll vote for the one with the best chance of knocking the Obama out of the whitehouse. Another 4 years of him and it won’t matter much, imo.
But we should concentrate on 2010 to get some supporting cast in DC to help whomever the candidate is in 2012.
I am not going to allow the media to chose out candidate, I am not saying I’d support her but will be damned if these MSM schmucks are going to get away with it again. They fear her.
I have no idea what Sarah is going to do, or what Republican voters will do. I was fully prepared to do a write in vote Alen Keyes the last time around, until Sarah came onboard. The Republican machine needs to get its act together, and work to avoid another McCain type candidate. They never win. Romney doesn’t stand a chance of winning the primaries, and Huckabee could never win the national election. The best way to evaluate Huckabee’s chances is to see who is pushing him now, the left and the beltway intellectuals. They don’t love him like they loved McCain, but he will do for now.
