Bad analogy.

When self-professed conservative FReepers start demanding that (to cite just one example) Connie Mack (FL) be run out of the GOP solely on the basis of who he's married to, they have become totalitarianesque, indeed.

That's not what true conservatives do

Bad analogy.

I stand by it.

Is this Connie Mack thing something that happened on FR? And does it have anything whatsoever to do with the general notion of allowing non-Conservatives to waste our time and bandwidth with incessant and unproductive cat fights?

Ah.. so what is a true conservative in your mind?
One who supports liberal ideas and RINOs?

Well, in all fairness, Bono is a raving, liberal nutjob. Do you really think this won’t have any effect on Mack? However, until he starts acting and voting like a liberal whacko like his wife, then in my opinion, he stays. Look at James Carville and Mary.
