He would be nearly as bad and destroying the conservative movement rather than getting the country back on track. I wish I didnt vote for him because it involved setting aside important principles. Rather than aquiescing to the lesser of two evils I choose to use my vote to define what I believe in rather than who I don’t. My vote will either elect a conservative or burn the Rino tent to the ground since I refuse to be a pole that props them up to further screw us over.

And because a lot of conservatives took the same approach, we ended up with President Obama who IS burning the nation to the ground. While conservatives argue over some amorphous blob of undefined principles, the marxists and socialists are destroying the nation.

If you really think protecting the "conservative movement" is more important than protecting the nation, then you are seriously misguided...

Just a comment on your post... I despise Obama and what he Reid and Pelosi are doing to this country... it is a train wreck...

However - despite all - I will never vote for a RINO again - ever. At the National level Liberal/Moderate Republicans RINO’s are just about all we get from the RNC and the Republican Party in general... The Establishment that runs the RNC and other party big wigs believe in the Big Tent silliness - as defined by them - mostly Diversity for Diversity’s sake - just as an example.

Since nothing else has worked to break the stranglehold on national nominees that the Establishment Republicans have held ... then withholding our vote from RINOs at all costs is the only way we can break the back of party domination by liberal/moderate Republicans.

After all more people self-identify as Conservative than liberal... There many many millions more Conservatives in the Republican Party than there are liberal/moderate Republicans - SO WHY ARE THE LIBERAL/Moderate so called Republicans allowed to call the shots? Because we have been lemmings that’s why — lemmings no more - not ever again.

The back of the liberal/moderate Republican Party ‘leadership’ has to be broken once and for all.

We didn't end up with Obama because Conservatives finally started taking a stand, we ended up with Obama because the Republicans had 6 years in which to shrink the size, cost, and scope of the government, and to show the American public that they are responsible caretakers of the government. Instead they expanded the government, made it more expensive and more powerful. They went against Conservative beliefs and the American public reacted appropriately.

To add insult to injury, the GOP gave us John McAmnesty as their candidate.

Had the Republicans in the White House and Congress during those six years acted responsibly, and had we ended up with somebody other than McAmnesty, I have no doubt that the GOP wouldn't have lost Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008.

The two things are not mutually exclusive. In my mind, they are one and the same thing.
