But Jindal doesn’t excite people. I’d vote for him based on his record but many people will only vote for the person who excites them. That’s how we got Obama. First time I saw him on tv I thought - wow! this guy is fantastic! change in government - Yes!! Then I went and looked up his record and what he stood for. That was the end of that.

Jindal’s airtime during the latest hurricane threat was impressive. But later, didn’t he do a GOP soundbite that came across pretty lame? I have it in the back of my mind that he lost some of his aura...

What didn’t you like about his record? I feel about Palin much like you do about Jindal. If she were to win the nomination, I’d probably swallow the blue pill and vote for her, but I’ll work tirelessly to make sure that anyone else gets the spot.
