WASHINGTON (AP) - The Secret Service says it's looking into its own security procedures after determining that two people crashed Tuesday night's state dinner at the White House.
Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan says that President Barack Obama was never in any danger. Donovan says the party crashers went through the same security screening as the 300-plus people actually invited to the dinner honoring Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

You mean to tell me that the Washington Post is so nibby as to find out that a couple posted pictures online bragging of them at the dinner AND THEY CAN’T EVEN GET OBAMA’S COLLEGE RECORDS, PASSPORTGATE, and BC records researched?
It does not speak well of our ability yo protect the president. I don’t care which party.
They could be jobless and hungry - and w/so much food for foreigners and celebrities - what’s the problem? ;)

I mean, I know that if I were SS with this clown in the White House, I'd probably have precious little desire to do my job to the best of my ability. For my own sake, I'd probably find other employment.
Not believing this ... dinner seating is carefully arranged.
If they made it in ... which I believe is BS ... they would not have gone beyond the initial reception. At that point, if they left (before seating), it would have been immediately noticed.
He scared the ushers when he drooled all down the sleeve of my other friend's leather jacket, so they gave us our own booth on the press level. Once in there, we could unpack all the beers we snuck in.

I’m sure the gatecrashers were as thoroughly wanded and bomb-sniffed as every other attendee. What would be hilarious, and at the same time, infuriating, would be if the crashers turned out to be minorities or members of the ROP and the USSS didn’t push the issue out of political correctness.
