Either they will have to impose marshal law and disarm most people who actually work for a living or they will have a violent revolution. Today, like every other day, reconfirms that they are Maoists.

We are ready to join the next march on Washington!

Please consider taking a page out of a playbook written by some guy with the name of Sherman (don't remember the rest).

America -- a great idea, didn't last.

Great little scam.
And of course any upgrades or remediation will have to be done by contractors licensed $$$ and approved $$$ by the govt.

It won’t be easy, but it does start to look like civil disobedience will be necessary if some of this stuff passes.

If these Marxists, communists pass this bill, the resulting violence will make the first civil war seem tame. Hatred has been brewing and the backlash will be violent and bloody.

You left out the best part.

Old Butch
—————— -———— -———— —
John was in the fertilized egg business.
He had several hundred young layers (hens), called ‘pullets,’
and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs.

He kept records, and any rooster not performing
went into the soup pot and was replaced.
This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells
and attached them to his roosters.

Each bell had a different tone, so he could tell from a distance,
which rooster was performing.
Now, he could sit on the porch And fill out an efficiency report
by just listening to the bells.
John’s favorite rooster, old Butch, was a very fine specimen,
but this morning he noticed old Butch’s bell hadn’t rung at all!
When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing
pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming, could run for cover.

To John’s amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn’t ring.
He’d sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.
John was so proud of old Butch, he entered him in the Renfrew County Fair
and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the No Bell Piece Prize
but they also awarded him the Pulletsurprise as well.

Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making.
Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren’t paying attention.

Vote carefully next year,

the bells are not always audible.

One occupation that will benefit will be HVAC installers and salesmen. But seriously, what it will do is put an financial and hassle obstacle in the way of selling a home, and because of that families will be increasingly reluctant to do so. Moreover, people will start to abandon homes and walk away from their mortgages.

In effect, for someone who doesn't qualify for “compliance aid”, the cost of compliance will be deducted from whatever net equity they may have. With almost 1 in 4 homeowners being underwater (or upside down) with negative home equity, just how much will this law boost that proportion?

As if Cap’n-Tax isn't bad enough! This will be really bad for the economy!

but....but....but with the hackers emails revealed that global warming .... I mean ...WARMAL GLOATING.... to be total LIES...why are we even talking about Cap & Tax.... it is settled science... there should be no more discussion.

We need to call our Senators & congressmen & States legislature and tell them we will not tolerate any Copenhagen, executive orders, treaties, global warming, green jobs, twisty lighbulbs, textbooks that promote global warming. No more talk about polar bears declining (they are increasing) no more wind, solar etc.

We need to drill, baby, drill everywhere in the US there is oil, it should be available to drill.

Let’s stop the madness and trillions of dollars spent for NOTHING.

I can see a lot of people just burning the place down and collect the insurance money.

I’m sure these days that would be a much higher amount than what the property would sell for.

The caveat is (there always is a caveat) that if you have enough money to make required major upgrades to your home, then you can sell it. But, if not, then forget it. Even pre-fabricated homes ("mobile homes") are included.

I see a rash of home fires when people decide to move.

Ooops ... wait a minute.

We might want to read this article first before we go burning down any houses for insurance money.

http://www.up2daterealestate.com/2009/07/08/will-cap-trade-affect-home-sales-an-update/

This labeling of existing homes might not be true after all.
