Today, on behalf of the Competitive Enterprise Institute, I filed three Notices of Intent to File Suit against NASA and its Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), for those bodies' refusal - for nearly three years - to provide documents requested under the Freedom of Information Act.
The information sought is directly relevant to the exploding "ClimateGate" scandal revealing document destruction, coordinated efforts in the U.S. and UK to avoid complying with both countries' freedom of information laws, and apparent and widespread intent to defraud at the highest levels of international climate science bodies. Numerous informed commenters had alleged such behavior for years, all of which appears to be affirmed by leaked emails, computer codes and other data from the Climatic Research Unit of the UK's East Anglia University

That did not take long! Once they haul the 'scientists' into court and get them under oath, with their emails and code exposed, they will crumble.
They are damned if they do, and damned if they don't. If they give up the GISS data, McIntrye will destroy them with the cooking of the books they have done. If they don't give up the data, they will most likely be in contempt of court.
I hope they subpeona that ass James Hansen who has been the main US cheerleader besides Al Gore on AGW. He has used his paid position at NASA to preach his global warming religion and it is time he get cut down to size.

CEI will need funds to do this.
We are going to donate money to them this Christmas and give the donation in each of our liberal family’s name.
I am thinking Chris Horner sees a RICO possibility in whole scam.
He is a very good lawyer.

I agree. Chris Horner is one of the good guys out there. And that's particularly true despite being an attorney. He's one of the 25-30% of attorneys who are good guys.
I've always been suspicious of the whole global warming theory because it always seemed to me to be an unfalsifiable hypothesis. You cannot absolutely prove it isn't going to happen. But now it seems that the scientists who are promoting it have been fudging the data or worse. This is criminal or should be criminal. I also noticed that there was a certain class of people who stood to benefit financially from the whole theory. I don't think I need to say who they are but they are very prominent people.
I do have one worry still and here's what it is. The MSM will simply ignore this story. They will pretend it didn't happen. You know the old story about if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, did it make a sound? That's what I think will happen. Remember how the New York Times ignored the Acorn scandal until they couldn't.

We need that cartoon of the old geezer wringing his hands and saying "Excellent!" That's the ticket. Get these arrogant hotshot amateurs into court under discovery orders, and they will have meltdowns of their own. As "professors" they are used to being unaccountable to anyone, like spoiled brats. When the adults arrive it will be like the end of "The Lord of the Flies."

Remember how the New York Times ignored the Acorn scandal until they couldn'tThe point of that story is, in the end they couldn't, and they looked pretty damn stupid in the bargain. I'm not sure they're ready to fall on their dildoes once again so soon after the last fiasco.

In the pantheon of climate research, where does this CSU fit in? Are they major players/researchers or a small time group hustling for grant money?
How much money has this group been given/had access to?

RICO?????
Oh, I hope so!
Look what they have intentionally pulled on millions & millions & millions of people!

“Did anyone catch Cavuto today.?”
That guy is an old TV actor from the 80’s can’t think of his name. I’m sure it’ll be on youtube soon.
He had a typical liberal reaction - foaming at the mouth agressive pointing, the guy totally lost it. I take that as a good sign :-)
He kept saying “PEER REVIEW” well, that’s what they have been trying to do - but the “scientists” were blocking peer review..
Great Cavuto today.

They don't care if they look stupid because to the idiots who read this publication it doesn't matter anymore. They had no problem letting Jason Blair keep telling lies even though the KNEW he was lying through his teeth. Did they suffer for this? Of course not. Did CBS suffer from Rather Gate. No, of course not. Does GE even care that MSNBC has lower viewership than some good local radio shows? Apparently Not.
I'm not optimistic given the intelligence of the average American.

In the pantheon of climate research, where does this CSU fit in? CSU is one of the big players. Much of the research they did contributed to the United Nation's IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) reports that Al Gore shills for constantly. They are one of the three biggest units in Britian, and collabote constantly with their collegues in the U.S. including many that testify before congress.

I hope you meant CRU, the Climate Research unit at East Anglica University, the one in the email scandals. If you meant CSU I’m not sure what that is.
