The “Republican” was endorsed by all the major leftist/Socialist groups because she was more liberal than the Democrat

I just caught his. To say she was "endorsed by all the major leftist/socialist groups (I assume you're taking a dig at Republicans here) BECAUSE she was more liberal than the Democrat" is a LIE.

Make your point without lying. She was NOT endorsed because she was more liberal, she was endorsed because she was a Republican, chosen by Republicans and she was not more liberal than the Democrat.

I repeat the blame for this lies with the grassroots Republicans in the district for choosing the county chairs they chose.

and she was not more liberal than the Democrat.

*rolls eyes*

Enough with this "more liberal" or "more conservative" political relativism.

Scozzafava is NOT conservative. Hell, she isn't even libertarian! Scozzafava is a LIBERAL, and I'm not talking about classical liberalism here.

++++++++++++++++++

People and columnists on Daily Kos and DU were endorsing Scozzafava - that’s no lie. She literally held positions to the left of Owens - my understanding.

That doesn’t eviscerate your other arguments in favor of driving the R party toward its conservative base.

Excuse me, madam. Don’t be an idiot and accuse others of lying when you refuse to read what is written. Or do you deny Kos and ACORN endorsed the “Republican” in the race ? She WAS more liberal than the Democrat, and if you deny that, you’re lying to yourself.

And, btw, her choice wasn’t accidental, it was deliberate, and they knew her SOCIALIST record. Many county chairs ARE establishment liberals. They knew what she was and they chose her anyway, even AFTER the preference for a center-right candidate was made. Go read up on the race and get back to me, because you truly don’t know what you’re talking about.

she was not more liberal than the Democrat.

Did you follow that race at all? Can you name those groups that supported her? And, then in turn, who she ended up supporting? Was it a republican?
