Fox is also carrying it:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,576009,00.html?test=latestnews

It’s third in their list of “most read” stories.

Enjoy!

“Sounds like this is potentially going to take a few lefty journalists down too.”

Don’t get your hopes up too high - as best I know, Walter Duranty’s Pulitzer Prize (for being, in essence, Stalin’s dupe) is still hanging on a wall at the New York Times.

I haven’t read that in quite a few years. Gotta dig it back out.

If they report it at all, they are going to take the approach that the BBC and Drudgereport’s link to the Globe took.

They are going to report the hacking, but not what the emails reveal. In the Globes case they quoted a Global Warming establishment guy repeatedly saying “the bulk of evidence...” completely disregarding that these emails call into question the validity of that “bulk of evidence”.

I was also going to mention that when Limbaugh and Beck cover this, the word will reach a “few” more people. ;-)

I dont know if this has been posts on FR yet:

There are many things to love about these e-mails. For example, the word “funded” appears roughly 66 times over there. Stepan Shiyatov instructs his colleagues about the optimal ways to commit tax evasion:

... That is why it is important for us to get money from additional sources, in particular from the ADVANCE and INTAS ones. Also, it is important for us if you can transfer the ADVANCE money on the personal accounts which we gave you earlier and the sum for one occasion transfer (for example, during one day) will not be more than 10,000 USD. Only in this case we can avoid big taxes and use money for our work as much as possible. Please, inform us what kind of documents and financial reports we must represent you and your administration for these money....

“the day Newt’s testosterone ran out”

Maybe he never had any & it was all a sham. Maybe we were placated with some meaningless crap & although some OK people were elected, the events of 1994 were ultimately managed by an RNC liberalist hierarchy like always.

I remember him being on Rush & someone asked what did you actually do? & the first thing he said was something like “well we had that contract with America”. Then something about tax cuts. It was a very indignant response, & it sounded like there was some substance, but there really wasn’t IIRC

Many already have, but they were up against both the media and the government

Well yes I agree on that. I should have mentioned the media blackout as well. There was an expose' of IPCC's cooking the statistics in "Satanic Gasses" by Michaels and Balling way back in 2000. The media ignored it.

But where are the scientific and professional organizations? They are usually the means for "science" to speak to the public. AFAIK the only group which has stood up for empirical truth is the American Physics Association. The groups rfepresenting those who actually are supposed to study climate and atmospheric science are all coopted and passively or actively colluding with the fraud.

Fifty years ago I would have agreed with you. Today the "scientific community" is a fiction, a defanged bunch who are largely intimidated by university faculty promotion and tenure committees. They are beholden to grant-making foundations and institutions, led by government funding agencies, most of which are corrupted by the leftwing extremists among them.

To a large extent, you are correct. Democrats are good at figuring out ways to punish their enemies, and anybody who gets in the way of "Cap and Trade" will be considered an enemy. Enemies will find it hard to get grant money -- the appropriate Obama czar will see to it.

Tenured scientists, however, may take a look at long-run prospects and notice that Obama's poll numbers stink, which says something about the long-term outlook. Remember, tenured people are in the game for the long term, and if this scandal sours the public on science funding in general, then they are in deep trouble. So it could go either way.

Good post! If we thought that the Wall Street banks and AIG were ‘too big to fail’..wait until the globull warming hoax is fully exposed! The left will argue that there is too much money involved to let it go quietly into the night...whether it’s a lie or not. This could potentially bring down GE,Goldman Sacs and many other carbon credit shills.

Let’s pray that the world comes to their senses and allows the global warming hoax to do exactly that.....FAIL!!

There is nothing mainstream about the Corrupt Liberal Media.

MSM is a inaccurate description.

An accurate description should be CLM as in Corrupt Liberal Media.

Why use the term “mainstream” when the accurate description is “corrupt”?

Okay. I missed Fox. If I had a full cup of coffee down my gullet before I felt the need to investigate, my synapses might have triggered Fox to put on that list. Why did I forget Fox? Maybe it had something to do with my Halloween costume this year...

Keep the traction on this one, FRiends.

It is critical that we cut the eco-commies off at the knees.

I couldn’t agree more sincerely. I have long maintained that there is money driving this, and the people who stand to make money are leveraging the useful idiots, the people who are gullible enough to be genuinely concerned, and ideologues who think humans are a scourge on the earth.

But this boils down to money, greed and ignorance.

This scandal will quite turn the tables. In addition, there was recent research published that definitively discredited the computer models used to promote CAGW.

Speaking of computer models, one thing that may work against CAGW is the fact that we are in an anomalous sunspot cycle. (notice the gap between latest actual numbers, and the predicted red model curve)

As many know who have been following the sunspot threads, we have been in an abnormally long period of little/no sunspots. Sunspots are an indicator of solar activity, and in particular of the strength of the solar magnetic field. The solar magnetic field acts to shield the Earth from interstellar cosmic ray particles. Ionizing particles act to promote cloud formation. The net effect is a global cool down when the Sun's magnetic field weakens.

Be sure and let Senator Inhofe know you support him. He's going to be the main driving force in government to derail Copenhagen, Cap and Tax, and so on...

Here's a clip from BEFORE this scandal broke:

Senator Inhofe tells B. Boxer (on global warming) "we won, you lost, get a life!

LOL
