Sarah said the other day that the country isn’t ready for a third party.

Glenn was sad...

Please - not more 3rd party nonsense.

We don't have a two party system. Uniting Conservatives in a party based on strong Conservative principles will be the second party.

The people at the Beck book signing were all well-behaved and courteous for the most part. That's not surprising considering these people are the salt-of-the-earth types that make the country work. If these people ever shrug, the whole edifice will collapse.

If we can’t even take back the party, how are we going to take back the country?

BUMP!

Though many things will need to be done to stop the tyranny before then...

I've got a feeling many are waiting for one date...Nov 2, 2010...to signal what action will follow.

If the scoundrels/crooks(politics/wall street)are not exposed/expelled by then...I think all hell will break loose.

He did have a foreboding look about him like if you step out of line, "I'll just have to break both of your kneecaps."

We are the "Right Wing Extremists" we've been waiting for...

Smiling takes 6.

Supporting 3rd party movements is great for the liberal/socialists.

Yeah, it's really bad for the liberal/socialists in the Republican party. And once those clowns are banished from the Republican party, then we can think about reforming the party.

This is long term. You can't expect a few conservatives to reform the entire Republican party. Sorry, been there done that.

"Please - not more 3rd party nonsense"

AMEN! It's about TIME we abandoned the third party...the dead and impotent Republican Party. What a joke. It committed suicide a loooooong time ago, it's time to bury that rotten carcass. Bring on the next wave, Glen and Sarah! MOST of us are in the new party, whatever it decides to call itself.

So MANY of us here are FED UP with not only Democrat Socialists, but ALSO with RINOS who enable them and do nothing to stop them and do not follow our orders; we need to put our money where our mouth is and support patriotic mass movements which (like Free Republic itself) are Conservative, but are also Non-partisan and Independent as stated in our charter/mission, and will support anyone who goes along with our cause despite whichever consonant is in brackets behind their name. There was nearly 100% approval of Doug Hoffman a few weeks ago, right here on FR. This is to me a logical extension of it. The various few RINOS and Republican Party-Firsters around here can just go suck on it. 2010 does not involve any Electoral College. It involves, a) getting solid conservatives first to run, well funded, in primaries across the land and defeat RINOs in office in the Republican Party, and then b) gird up for battle in the General Election and take it to the other, greater enemy and really whop the holy hell out of them in Congressional District after Congressional District and state, tying them directly in a media blitz to Barack Hussein Obama, (mmm mmm MMM!). It also engenders non-support of particularly nasty RINOs in the General and running Conservative Alternatives to them and winning simple pluralities, beating both the Democrat (D) and the Republican (D) in the race. Sorry, won't hear any more whining to the contrary. Have heard it enough for 30 years. Will NOT support any candidate if he or she is not in it to save our Republic and do the drastic things we need to do to reverse course now. Count me in Glen.

And if that means the Democrats or the Republicans are destroyed along the way, well, good. Good.”

Love Glenn for his educating America and exposing the worst of America's politcs including the Left's/Obama, Inc.'s agenda. Am with Glenn 'all the way' save for this. It is painful to hear him continually link 'in toto' every Repub with the worst of the Democrats in power. Think he makes a huge mistake. No question his Libertarian MO comes into play here; never met one, who did not believe that there - and 'theirs' - should be a viable third Party offering.

So wrong, and worse, too dangerous; IMHO. . .Even the Dems figured that out (change within. . .) and while they are 'America's loss'; we have only to look at the success they acheived.

Repubs can figure out who will best lead their Party; let the process play out; the best man/woman will win; and so will America. (Unless, that is; Obama has every Repub under 'quarantine' by Election 2012 - or worse.)

Sorry to bust your bubble but Rush & Sarah prefer to reform GOP and not go with 3rd party losers. It makes sense to me and I trust Rush & Sarah’s judgement more than beck.
