Well, if we apply some creative math on those numbers, it’s 73.598% on the democraps, over a 10-year period.

Agreed! BOTH parties are to blame.

All this camaraderie, reaching across the aisle bipartisanship created this position in the Clinton years.

Came home to roost in a big way now, in the Obama years.

But that is not to say that the Bush years didn’t give it a helping hand.

That’s for sure. Until we do a clean sweep, I don’t believe we will ever see any substantive change in Washington.

This poll was set up improperly IMO.

I don’t care for the qualifiers. All that needs to be asked, is who do you blame.

Frankly, I blamed both parties equally at the onset. As time has done by, that number has morphed as Obama has had more time to act, and has still done nothing of note to turn thiings around. I can’t recognize his political payoff scheme as a stimulus package.

By now we should have seen an uptick in the economic sector, outside government jobs, or government bailouts.

Intead we’re still bleeding jobs at the rate 500k plus.

Not good.

It goes back a few terms. Economically, this has been made much worse than it was, by this administration taking advantage of the crisis and thay even admit this fact.

This did not happen overnight, of course, but this also did not have to result in socialism...it is being used to force socialism. I don't believe Obama has enough clout left to accomplish real agenda. But, he is still president and certainly anti-American, so he'll do what he can.

This administration, the Democratic Party politicians, non-representative czars, and appointed thugs tyrannically erode our rights, impede our freedoms, sell us out to the third world nations, alienate our allies, steal our money for many generations to come.

Bush derangement syndrome got old a long time ago. The Democratic Party took over America three years ago and have been “leading” this nation ever since...I don't blame Obama for this, but the Democratic Party of America has and does own it.

Unfortunately, the poll question is predicated upon false statements.

Nearly two years into the recession, opinion about which political party is responsible for the severe economic downturn is shifting, according to a new national poll.

re·ces·sion (rĭ-sěsh'ən) n.
An extended decline in general business activity, typically two consecutive quarters of falling real gross national product.

3rd Quarter-2008 and 4th Quarter-2008 were the first two consecutive quarters of falling real GDP.

STOP THE LIES!

79% blame the Rats.

This means that 21% are ill-informed.

Agree, but some research needs to be done that I believe will indicate the majority of the problem stems from Leftist anti constitutional meddling in government affairs. (IMO All reversible with the right circumstances.)

I believe both parties are complicit, but the Left is involved in all political parties, and all supporting entities of government.

It’s not necessarily about Democrats versus Republicans IMO when in fact I think it’s all about the Left versus the Right.
