He did use VERY strong words, but I simply don’t trust middle-aged men (or women) with gray hair. He’ll sell out by the time this is over.

Normally, I wouldn’t trust a Democrat on such an issue. I heard Stupack get interviewed by Raymond Arroyo nd I have to admit that I was impressed with him.

it takes 40 votes but I would like nothing better than to see these baby killers from hell drop to their knees in horror that the murder of babies cost them the bill of the century and that history would have to report that but for their desire to slaughter innocent little babies, the health care for millions would have passed.

The dems will compromise and pass it with the amendment, then revisit it later, and ‘compromise’ it right back out when they have the votes.

I’m sure Pelosi et al will keep the Stupak amendment in. I mean this bill is about getting good healthcare to all Americans. It’s not about abortion, is it? IS IT?

Its not about health care or abortion, its about control, socialism, and the egomaniacal political goals of leftist twits. .

Stupack and his amendment are running a distraction tactic. This bill needs to die...period. With or without abortion coverage it is still going to destroy private health care and jobs.
what the Dems have accomplished is a redirection of the focus from the whole bill to one aspect of it.

If we're going to have government health care in this country... I don't want taxpayer-financed abortion. The liberals can take it or they can give up their dream. Either way suits me just fine!

I heard Stupack get interviewed by Raymond Arroyo nd I have to admit that I was impressed with him.How do you think he got elected? By sounding good, that's how.
When the chips are down, he, or at least enough of his cronies, will vote for the compromise which will include abortion.

Stupak and any other so-called pro-life Democrats are obviously ignorant of Hussein and his ways.
HUSSEIN WILL DO WHAT HE WANTS TO DO ONCE THIS LEGISLATION IS PASSED.
Look at what he did with TARP: he used it to bail out auto companies. Hussein didn't give a DAMN about what the money was supposed to be used for...
HUSSEIN WILL ALSO WORK WITH THE JUDICIARY TO GET THE 'ABORTION' CLAUSE STRICKEN FROM THE LEGISLATION!
This has been the modus operandi of liberals who have abortion as a sacrament for YEARS. They cannot get what they want via the legislature, so they nullify the will of legislatures THROUGH THE COURTS.
Anyone of any party who says they are pro-life MUST STOP THE BILL ENTRIELY!
To: Mount Athos
"Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) pledged on Tuesday morning to defeat healthcare reform legislation if his abortion amendment is taken out, saying 10 to 20 anti-abortion-rights Democrats would vote against a bill with weaker language." This sounds like something I have heard before:

He's ALREADY a sell out! We don't need this stinkin' health care bill - abortion funding included or not.
We are facing much more than a single issue problem here.

He does. They do not want to lose the “Health Care” issue. They will if they pass this ridiculous bill.

Anyone with balls to say this:
"[T]hat is why Mr. Axelrod is not a legislator he doesnt really know what he is talking about."
Earns my respect instantly.
To: Mount Athos
Stupak is a stooge. The entire bill must be killed.
