"Stress cards"? Unreal...
The radical left knows no bounds when it comes to their ridiculous social engineering schemes. It never occurs to them that the military is a militant warrior organization, where the basic ethos and operating climate are necessarily tough.
These people just sicken me no end. Never do they stop for two seconds and ask themselves if there's an existing solution to a problem that has worked well in the past.
No, their standard operating procedure is to always come up with some brand new cockamamie, harebrained solution which is untested and unproven, ignoring, or even intentionally throwing aside all prior human knowledge and experience on a given subject in favor of their radical, feel-good crap.
My dad is a 27 year, retired veteran of the US Army. He'd have a few choice words for someone if I told him about these "stress cards". I'm sure it would flip his noodle.
I did a search just now because it has been many years since I have been affliated with the military. Snopes dot com; words it slightly diferently and claims this is false

I know first-hand this to be true in the Clinton years. Don’t know the exact date it started.
I verified first hand recently in the Atl. airport speaking to an Army booter going home to see mom and dad before going to war overseas. I asked him point blank if the stress cards were still being used. (BTW it is a card you press your thumb [finger] on and if it turns a certain color it indicates supposedly that you are stressed) So you can then go to your bunk for a 10-15 minute nap or some such.
This young Army booter said one guy tried to pull it and well let’s put it this way you are labeled a wuusy if you do. I also asked him about the current ROE the current CIC put out. The rules exist and let’s just say they are instructed in other normal Army ways.
Back to Snopes all’s I can say is they need to check their facts and re-word it. Because I give you my word it is true.
