Palin slams 'sexist' Newsweek cover...
They lifted the photo from runners week which she posed for months ago
I think that has and is already being done.
Now I have to tear out my eyes to get that out of my brain! DON'T GO THERE!
She looks great! Does the company that owns Newsweak also own Runner’s World and maybe thats why they are too cheap to send over their own photog? Will we have to wait till 2012 to see Hillary in her exercise get up?
If Sarah Palin was ugly, no one would care.
Governor Palin should be criticizing Newsweek for abuse of the flag of the U.S. as well as their sexist depiction of her personally. It will be a good opportunity for her to educate the public on the proper and improper ways to display the flag of the U.S. This sort of abuse of the flag is rampant these days. It should not be reduced to a fashion article or a photo prop.
What do the feminazi’s think? Are they gonna vote YES? Or will they pass on this one?
All that notwithstanding...Newsweek putting it on their cover is very bad form and their intent is clear.
It’s strictly business. The novelty has worn off of putting Obama on their cover every other week so they needed to put Palin on their cover to actually sell magazines.
Exactly so ... this was a blatant attempt to dismiss her credibility on so-called serious issues. It was the same kind of move as that other shot during the campaign last fall, the one from between her calves at the boy in the crowd, the angle made it look as though he was peeking up her skirt. Outrageously done, and by a bunch of people who supposedly promote a feminist agenda, no doubt some women included in the meeting room when this was agreed as the cover photo.
Don't fool yourself, they would use same sort of out of context pic on a man whose views they loathe as much too
Since I am not buying this rag, can anyone tell me if Newsweak attributes the cover photo to Runner’s World?
I'd be interested to hear how the PUMA's feel about the cover art chosen.
They just want to sell mags. The cover shot is a critical decision. Good-looking women sell. If it generates a bit of buzz, all the better.
The same thing happened to Glenn Beck with his cover photo on TIME. It had been taken on a much earlier shoot for another publication, situation, the agreement was that it would not be used for another, the photographer sold it to TIME anyway. As far as I know, he didn't sue, but he's made enough statements on the lack of integrity by that photographer to make his point without lawsuit.
Or one they like, are in line with -- only recall the upshot of Bill Clinton's crotch, we were told it was supposed to be a rendition of Lincoln's pose in the monument. Yeah, sure.
True...and folks are sick of looking at The One’s mug. Wouldn’t it be funny if this is the best selling mag of the year? Newsweak would say all the Palin haters bought it, but in truth its because she’s a good-looking woman? HHHAAAAA!
Due to loss of readers, Newsweek ‘magazine’is now the size of a silly left wing pamphlet,if they continue with their ‘progressiveness’ their little propaganda sheet will be nothing more then an interoffice memo.
Who cares?!
Looks just fine to me!
