The Governor needs to call up the Iowa militia and dispatch it to the border ~ then recon the territory immediately to their East ~ mine the area, and withdraw quietly (all at night of course).

Then, when the Obamistas, Durbanistas and other assorted smarmy Illinois politicians gather to "check out the site", move in and capture them red handed.

The flaw in this is that even if Iowa were to hold that gang hostage no one in Washington would care to pay ransom on them so they'd just rot in Iowa.
