Thanks for the heads up! My response:
Sirs,

You idiots. You have one product and you think it’s a good idea to piss off half your actual and potential customers?

Like I said, idiots. Attached is a picture demonstrating that you have in fact lost a customer – if your mail service doesn’t accept attachments then you can view the picture at http://tunehead54.com/fr/crackincrap.jpg .

Conservatives as a rule feel strongly that Sarah Palin has been wronged by the media, by liberals in general and even by McCain and his campaign. She is a person to be reckoned with and we expect her to be a strong contender in the 2012 presidential campaign.

This Johnston fellow, rather than doing the honorable thing, support his progeny and keep his mouth shut, is capitalizing on his 15 minutes of fame and pond scum would be a good description except I wouldn’t want to offend pond scum. Well, you might have thought this cute but you were mistaken. Maybe you should spend more time review the submissions for your $25K contest than placing this ad in any other markets.

Publix used to carry Sunkist but now only yours – I do intend to suggest they change back as I’ll never buy your product again. Hopefully Publix will give me my money back for your stale, poorly salted product. Your lack of an 800 number or product guarantee should have been a tip off to the lack of quality in your product. Buh-bye.

Sincerely, (TH54)

Here is the reply I received from my e-mail. They may not have an 800 number but they are giving out a live person’s number to contact.

I will be out of the office Friday, Nov. 13, returning on Monday. If this is urgent, please contact Kourtney Schepman at 310-966-4665.
Thank you.
