That little boy's father was killed in Iraq just before the end of his second, volunteer tour. When the flag was presented...he stepped forward to receive it, surprising his mother, who was prepared to do the same.

The little boy later said that his father was, "a hero who died trying to keep America safe from terrorists."

God bless him and his family and all who serve and recognize our enemies and are willing to volunteer to fight them and protect America...unlike the pathetic excuse for a President currently occupying the White House.

Click on that pic and take a look at the video when you have the time.

You know Jeff, every time I see that picture my heart breaks for that little boy who is now going to face more challenges in his life just growing up than most of us ever have, or will have in our lifetimes.

In that context, it makes whatever problems I think I may have seem minute by comparison. I just pray that our Father in Heaven keeps His hand on that little boy and his mother, and that no more harm comes to them.
