In case you missed the media coverage of the Fort Hood shooting for the last several days, let's sum up the main theme: Nidal Malik Hasan is not a terrorist.

CNN continued that theme early Thursday morning with an interview from a profiler who claims that Hasan is nothing more than a lonely, wifeless, psychopath in the midst of a midlife crisis.

There is a video out in cyber space somewhere, that Obama, like this Islamic Muslim Terrorist, Hasan, states his Muslim religion and background. I have seen the tape but do not have access to it. If anyone, ANYONE, has it, please put in in YOU TUBE so all can see for once and for all just what kind of marxist muslim we have running our beloved country.

That little boy's father was killed in Iraq just before the end of his second, volunteer tour. When the flag was presented...he stepped forward to receive it, surprising his mother, who was prepared to do the same.

You know Jeff, every time I see that picture my heart breaks for that little boy who is now going to face more challenges in his life just growing up than most of us ever have, or will have in our lifetimes.

In that context, it makes whatever problems I think I may have seem minute by comparison. I just pray that our Father in Heaven keeps His hand on that little boy and his mother, and that no more harm comes to them.

There no longer is a "War on Terror" - a misnomer, to be sure, but at least an attempt at what we face. Ergo, there can no longer be "terrorists".

I guess a "lonely, wifeless, psychopath in the midst of a midlife crisis" is as good an explanation of this as any other.

Does this mean we are now officially in a "War on Lonely, Wifeless, Psychopaths in Midlife Crisis"?

Hasan didn’t target civilians. He hit a clear military target. The appropriate term then isn’t terrorism. It’s treason.

Hasan has pronounced sympathy for suicide bombers and has had communication with those who advocate the same. I would contend that there was no military objective to the Hasan massacre except to kill non-muslims in the name of Islam which does make it perpetrated for political \ religious reasons.

BTW, if the scene had been an airport or a mall, the Dems and their Controlled Media would still argue that this was not terrorism.

I agree with everything you said. I just don’t think it’s “terrorism” because Hassan didn’t target civilians. He’s a treasonous, murdering jihadi. But he attacked a military base, not a civilian target (such as a mall or restaurant).
