Does our buffoonish Dear Leader even realize that an American, General of the Army Douglas McArthur, made the decision, in conjunction with President Truman, to let the Japanese keep their emperor at the end of World War II? We had demanded unconditional surrender, but waived that one thing.

But Hirohito was demoted from being a god to just being sort of a sub-Emperor. It didn't set too well with some Americans, but the relief of having the war ended overrode all.

Now The ghost of Hirohito seeks his enemy’s leader
symbolically prostrate himself before his successor as did
Hitler when he made the French surrender in they very railcar
in which the Huns were forced to sign the Armistice.
