Wishing all could be “speedy”, along with the “speedy trials”.
Definitely strikes me as 1 of the quickest crime -> execution journeys in my lifetime here.
Is it because he was a mass/serial murderer? I thought that, but so many serial killers have gotten off with decades of life, if they are ever killed.

Sure, because he threatened the political class in their backyard. All of our lives would be different—and there would have been no Ft. Hood terrorist attack—if the one 9/11 plane had hit the Capitol Building (where the Important People are) instead of the Pentagon (whom the Important People don’t care about).
