Imho, Obama’s initial reaction to the Fort Hood terrorist attack was incredibly insensitive and totally inappropriate. Obama’s unvarnished, non-telepromptered reaction is what people will remember as it revealed his true feelings (or lack thereof).

I think the MSM and the Dems will laud today's speech by Obama as the modern day sermon on the mount as they always do. Obama’s appearance will be heavily scripted with no opportunity for extemporaneous speech of any kind. At least I hope so for the families.

I understand scheduling conflicts, but, imho, if Obama really cared, he would have been in Fort Hood right after the incident, like President and Mrs. Bush were. President Bush and Mrs. Bush visited not seeking attention, but to render their condolences, comfort and respect.
