MSNBC and Bloomberg are reporting that the Obama administration is denying reports by CBS News and the AP that Obama has decided to send nearly 40,000 reinforcements to Afghanistan.
Both outlets report that Obama has not received final recommendations from his advisers and he would then need time to review them.
Bloomberg cited an e-mailed statement by National Security Adviser Jim Jones that flatly denied a decision had been made by Obama.
Afghan theater Gen. Stanley McChrystal requested 40,000 to 80,000 troops in August saying the war could be lost in twelve months if his request is not met. Three months later Obama has yet to decide on that urgent request.

Both senior administration officials insisted Obama has not made any decision on troop levels in Afghanistan, noting the President has another meeting with his national security team on Wednesday to receive a final set of recommendations from the Pentagon brass. The senior officials said the president could not possibly make a decision on troop levels before even receiving the Pentagons final recommendations.

When is Rahm NOT ENRAGED? Or rushing off to have ‘Donrahm’ meetings with any perceived threat to Obama’s Olympian status? Just curious...lol.

What? Is there something that disturbs you in the fact the CIC and Pentagon are going after each other?

Rahm needs to get kicked out on his ass. This is ridiculous. The Pentagon exists to give military advice to the President. This is a deadly serious matter, and the White House boys ought to keep quiet and do their jobs, whatever they may be.

I was going to say they don’t know what they are doing. But they do. Purposeful downgrading of our foreign policy and making America weak.
Rahm is enraged because he didn’t leak it. In their sick heads they don’t want to outrage their left wing more so then provide for a standing war. It is beyond words, disgusting.
I am so sick of Obama and his fellow radical cronies.

Those are the minor faults. His main faults are that he is a marxist tyrant-wannebe Muslim running dog. And his handlers/string pullers/funders are worse than he is.

A 'whodunit'. Hard to say really, but from my personal experience in dealing with socialists/marxists/communists and other organized criminal types, there's no honor among thieves, there are always factions inside of factions and they will stick each other in the back for advantage quicker than they will do it to you or me. If we manage to gum up the works to where nothing goes through like they plan, you'll sure to see disintegration from disgust and blame-game infighting from among the crowd that lurks over at the White House, conversely if all goes well according to plan, jockeying for position and favor over the spoils will sure to be seen and an especially nasty tug of war that will be. Could have been anybody from that crowd, for any nefarious self-serving reason.
I haven't really puzzled out why Hillary took the SOS job. To me it was an obvious ploy to marginalize her and keep her out of play in a "hold your competition closer" move, and she leaped right on it. Looks like Hillary is SOS in title only since special envoys typically are dispatched hither and dither while she attends ribbon-cutting ceremonies in the Duchy of Grand Fenwick and Lower Elbonia.

Obama voting present for as long as he can. His political history shows he just waits - then either a crisis happens ('never waste a crisis'), or the decision is made for him. Except this time, the buck stops here. Wait long enough for a crisis? He may just do that. You know he doesn't want to send any troops and just wants to withdraw from Afghanistan and Iraq. What a quandary he's in. Whatever he does, he's in deep s***. He probably also wants to delay knowing sending
any troops to Afghanistan may sway some radical dims to vote against health care. Yes, the dims eat their young. He wants health care
done by Christmas, then he'll make his Halfghanistan announcement.
Kinda' tough on a person with severe Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Criticism tough on the old ego armor, huh Barack? So, how are we going to get the rage? . . .

It seems that Obama is taking longer to read Von Clausewitz than he originally thought it would. We could have told him its kind of dry and you really need to take your time and think about each chapter. And don’t skip to the end without reading the whole thing. You won’t get it.

Given the amount of leaks we’ve heard over the Ft. Hood shooting Obama has made some serious enemies from numerous agencies.
