Thanks for the information. Honestly, I think Texas would be more likely to mete out justice than our military with a Muslim sympathizer commander in chief. They are afraid to call this what it is. General Casey is more worried about a Muslim backlash than bringing this murderer to justice.

I want to stress that I am not an expert.

Oh, I understand! :0) We're just talkin'.

I don't know what to think about this situation and things like this eat at me until I can at least form some sort of initial opinion (subject to change, of course.)

Right this minute I'd send him to Texas. But I also want to know how our present military bureaucracy would handle this situation. It could tell us a *lot* about just how much trouble this country is really in.

LOL, that sounds like something W would say, and he’s correct. I don’t remember who but one of our Texas citizens said if you kill us we’re going to kill you back.

Between my first post and this one I've come to the same conclusion but I'm very curious just how corrupt the current military bureaucracy has become due to political correctness and 0bama's influence. (No reflection on the troops and good officers.)

Good.

His most heinous crimes, those crimes against his fellow soldiers, should be prosecuted above all others.

The military justice system should try, convict and execute him.

Let everyone else stand in line, and if there is anything left over after the military has a go, let them have a shot.

Bastard doesn’t deserve a firing squad.

Build a gallows.

Give him the religion of pieces sentence.

Stones at 10 paces.

Firing squads were traditionally used for peculiarly military offense, like desertion. For regular crimes, like murder, the sentence was hanging. The current method is lethal injection.

The last execution in the Army was April 13, 1961, U.S. Army Private John A. Bennett was hanged after being convicted of rape and attempted murder of an 11 year old girl.

In this case, the crime was committed by a soldier, against soldiers, and on a military installation. Clearly the Army has jurisdiction, and murder is a violation of Article 118 of the UCMJ.

At present the are 9 service members on death row in the US Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth. No service member can be executed unless the President personally confirms the death penalty.

Conflicted Media and US Attorney General.
Hasan wasn’t a Terrorist !...(He stays in Military Court.)
In the Military, you are Guilty until proven Innocent. And the Lady cop can testify against him....how embarrasing for Jihadists.
Now that Hasan is awake and can Talk.....His lawyer should advise him to claim Terrorist to Avoid Military justice.
Conflicted ? You betcha !

Corrupt is an interesting choice of words. I think they are afraid of how far Islam has infiltrated their ranks. My fatalist side says they have a lot of Hasan ticking time bombs. While they were busy being sensitive, Islam was busy putting all their ducks in a row.

Hasan will be found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity brought about by America’s lack of compassion for Jihadis, Palestinian suicide bombers and other muslims.
America will be found guilty of gross insensitivity to muslim concerns.
The Army will be criticized by the media and the President for maintaining an atmosphere uncomfortable for muslims.

The President, declaring that never again will a muslim be driven to such extremes by an uncaring and biased American government, vows to create an American culture more sensitive and responsive to the needs of muslims and Islam.

Hasan will be discharged from the Army with a full medical pension and become a highly paid consultant for the President’s Homeland Security Comittee For Muslim Outreach.

Hasan will then sue policewoman Kim Munley for violating his religious freedom, driving her into bankruptcy and despondency.
She will move to Alaska and live off the land.

Hasan will also successfully sue the manufacturer of the pistol and ammunition she used to shoot him.
He will use the proceeds to fund the Muslim Civil Liberties Union.

"No service member can be executed unless the President personally confirms the death penalty."

No danger of that happening with Obambi. He'll probably give Hasan some kind of commendation.

I think they are afraid of how far Islam has infiltrated their ranks.

The serious ones are. The corruption I spoke of refers to the more political types who buy into the PC "don't ruffle the muslims" crowd. Otherwise I agree completely.

As a U.S. Army veteran of the early 1960s, I do not think the Army of today, and by that I mean THE BRASS, have the nads to give this turncoat terrorist what he deserves; either death by firing squad, or to hang by the neck until dead! Too PC and too linguini-spined to do it. If they prove me wrong I will joyfully admit it!

You’d think that killing twelve military people would qualify a traitor for the death penalty.

I could be wrong but would that be 13 because one woman
was pregnant?

If they can’t decide - just say it was a split personality,
and cut him in half - one side for military one side for federal!!

My thought is that Obozo did not want public coverage because it might be embarrassing to him. Since Hasam was involved in his transition team, and he cannot afford his fellow Muslims to think he put one of them to death.

I have read that if the Army Court Marshall decides to give the death penalty, Obozo will have to sign off on the execution before it can happen.

It makes me sick that legally they have to continue to call him the “accused” killer. When there is 100% certainty that he is that and an Islamic Terrorist.
