It’s very, very sad. I realize that Cao is in a ‘Rat bastion and that we need to cut him some slack. This, however, went too far.

I don’t rule out his being reelected. One should remember Joe Orton, Democrat of Utah, who represented a super-Republican district for a few terms.

Orton didn’t represent a district in which 60% of the voters belonged to a group that cast 90% of their votes for the opposing party in every election for every office. Remember, Cao was elected in an extremely low-turnout December run-off in which blacks stayed home in droves and white Democrats that voted didn’t want to support the crook Jefferson.

I know that I posted a few weeks ago that if 2010 was exactly like 1994 that we would lose the seats held by Kirk, Castle, Gerlach and Reichert, with Kirk, Castle and Reichert being elected to the Senate and Gerlach losing in the gubernatorial primary to the eventual winner, and with every GOP House incumbent (including Cao) winning reelection, but even I didn’t believe it. : )
