"Cao's YEA vote for PelosiCare is just unconscionable."What if the vast majority of the people in his district wanted him to vote 'yes'? Knowing that district, I'd say that is a pretty safe assumption.

Don’t be foolish. As a prior resident of New Orleans, I can tell you he was “allowed” to vote that way once the dims had the votes needed +1, if it had been a close vote he would not have been allowed to be the vote to give them victory.
Repub leadership held him back until his vote was no longer needed. This gives him cover next year when he needs to get reelected in a largely minority city.
