They need to self-police. It's not up to us to "treat them as individuals" when they won't clean up the cause of the stereotypes.
Same goes for other groups with negative stereotypes - clean it up yourself, make a NEW stereotype.
Asians are stereotyped as good at academics.

They are not individuals!
That is essentially the problem!!
America is for individuals, it's part of the program!
