Since V is and was an allegory of FASCISM,
and it was based on a book called “It can’t happen here”,

if the left sees themselves mirrored as FASCISTS,
they should take note.

But, it’s kinda like the women who hate to see anti-abortion messages - they don’t want to have their consciences tweaked, and would rather silence the message than deal with the truth that is being revealed in themselves.

An additional item of interest is that allegories of the oppressive Obama regime (as well as direct frontal assaults ala Glenn Beck and Rush) are extremely profitable.

This will not be lost on writers, film producers, etc.

It certainly isn't lost on Matthews, Olbermann, Ed Schultz and the networks which air them. There really isn't any profit in towing the party line.

Go to the Internet movie data base IMDB.COM, type, in It can’t happen here, and it will take you to SHADOW ON THE LAND, a TV movie from 1968. I saw it back then.
