McVeigh probably did more to hasten his trial and execution than the government did. He essentially said “Yeah, I did it and I should be put to death for it” and waived his rights to appeal. Somehow, I’m guessing Hasan will fight this all the way. That’s what cowards do.

Somehow, I’m guessing Hasan will fight this all the way Wouldn't be surprised. But hopefully he'll be doing it from a wheelchair, where he and his colostomy bag are strapped in.
