Transferred to Ft Hood.
Had just learned of forthcoming deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan, forget which.

All our data says he was from Vinton Va near Roanoke. His family ran a restaurant.
I just wondered when an episode like this would happen here.
His cousin also said he was in the military BEFORE 9/11 and that he's ALWAYS been Muslim.
He had plenty of opportunity to opt out after 9/11. We are fighting predominantly Muslim countries.
He got a lawyer to try to get him out of the military. Whatever happened to Section 8 "too crazy to fight for America".
Not saying we failed to detect him, saying we most likely cannot trust any Muslim in our military.
Joined the Army right out of High School and not happy about the wars then he shouldn’t have joined a service that is supposed to go to war if needed. IMO
