I served from ‘77-’97. It’s gotten much, much worse since Operation Desert Storm in ‘90 (I was mobilized, but never had to leave the states it was over quick enough) and then the first WTC bombing in ‘93 which pretty much got swept under the rug thanks to Clinton and the ‘Rats in charge during those trying times.
