I listened to a report on NPR early this morning, describing how none of the psychiatrists at WRH would allow to have their names publically given, but all of them explained there'd been problems for years with Dr.Hasan -- one small example was that for years, whenever he was on call, he would NOT answer the phone.

Scot Moran, head of the psychiatry services wouldn't talk to the reporter, but the psychiatrists claimed that the army would have been VERY hesitant to actively remove one of the view people in TROP that had risen to the position of shrink.

I am really furious that professionals do NOT police themselves, and instead let the bad apples inflict themselves upon the public.

It's gonna be a long long long time before I make another doctor's appointment for virtually anything - the stories coming out via the health bill and now this terrorist islamist doc are simply frightening.
