Even a five-point shift would mean big Democratic losses in 2010.
Tuesday's elections should put a scare into red state Democratsand a few blue state ones, too.
Barack Obama was said to have redrawn the electoral map by winning Virginia last year with 53% of the vote. On Tuesday, Republican Bob McDonnell flipped the state back to the GOP, winning his election for governor with 59% of the vote. Mr. Obama carried New Jersey easily last year with 57% of the vote. This year, despite being outspent 3-to-1, Republican Chris Christie ousted Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine there by 49% to 45%. Mr. Obama carried Pennsylvania last year by 10 points. On Tuesday, Republican Judge Joan Orie Melvin was elected to the state's Supreme Court by 53% to 47%, leading a GOP sweep of six of seven statewide contests.

What a disgustingly vile joke of a person she it.
Small businesses unable to provide health coverage to their workers would also pay up to 8% in new payroll taxes. This would cost them $135 billion more over the next decade, thereby diminishing their ability to create jobs.
The Democrats are turning employees into liabilities.
She is so vile, I don’t think she is human. :)
The lamestream media seems to forget that even as badly as McCain had performed, and as badly as Bush was perceived, McCain was STILL ahead until the big financial drop. People voted (and some didn’t vote) out of fear combined with “throw out the same ol same ol”.
That WAS NOT a true vote for Obama. He could have earned their trust, instead he whizzed down their leg and told them it was free gasoline.

The states, most of which are broke, are going to get screwed by this bill yet I have not heard or seen one state mention it. One would think that the locals, knowing they are about to be screwed by the Feds, would be barking.
Arggh Mateys! Who needs a skull and crossbones when you can hoist me up the mast to shiver their timbers!
The big financial drop was a set up and planned. Rahm and Gorelnick and Fannie & Freddie plus their cronies, the Sandlers at World Savings, ACORN/OBAMA/CRA lawsuits, Stan O’Neil at Merrill making Merrill and mortgage bond house which it never was, Soros and his hedge fund short pals John Paulson, J.C. Flowers, David Shaw et al plus Sauid/Chinese and other money.
It was a setup. I figured it out a few days before the election.
Corzine when he was at Goldman plus SillyCon Valley VCs and other investment banks did something simliar pumping dot bomb stocks on the IPO day for crappy companies to sucker main street in.
That woman is daft as a brush.

Or 20.
Go Glenn Beck !!!
(Yes, I’m shouting) NO! NO! NO!
The REPUBLICANS had better notice that this was not a “swing.” This was the base fed up enough to come out, the base voting for a conservative candidate, the base sending THEM a message!!!
The Brain Bump.
