Yep. It's a shame too because I've had good times in both Juarez and Tijuana (a long, long time ago). Now I live in San Diego which is (along with El Paso) one of the safest big cities in America but no way will I travel a mere 15 miles south to the border where it is quite literally a war zone.
Anyone in Mexico who needs to get a green card..like a new bride, must go to Juarez for US immigration. Why’s that? Who knows.
