Well, the 31 states that have had it put to referendum or state constitutional amendment have voted that marriage stay one man, one woman. The only states to have gay marriage did it without the consent of the people via raming it through in legislation.
Maybe Senators Collins and Snowe will hold a media conference today and lecture the people of ME on their lack of “wisdom”.
