Juan Williams said narative will be democrats were defeated because of WHO turned out. (no young, no black) Democrat machinery failed in NJ.

Hudson county results are in.

This was Obama’s second strongest county. (behind Essex).

Turnout was 70% of the Obama/McCain race

Christie got the same percentage as McCain. 27%
Corzine 69% is 4% less than Obama’s 73%.

And he’s still repeating the talking point that the Repubs are in big trouble for next year’s primaries. You’d think he’d be thrilled and keep his mouth shut.

No idea. I am not sure where those counties are. I just know Sussex is in the north and it is a pretty area.

Essex, Obama’s strongest county is still out (84% in).

That may be a 19,130 vote pickup for Corzine.

Christie is running 3% ahead of McCains 24%.
Corzine is running 8% behind Obama’s 76%.

Vote total is about 58% of the big race. With 84% of the precincts still out, that would mean this country should finish in at about 70% turnout from the big race.

That leaves a lot of potential stuffed ballot boxes in this county.
