Follow those races here. Report turnout, exit polls etc. as they happen..
Posted earlier but worth repeating: Voted in VA this a.m. - as of when I voted, the McDonnell, Bolling, Cuccinelli forces had set up with quite a few signs and had sample ballots, but there was not one Dem/Deeds person/sign to be seen. It was either too early for them or theyd given up on our precinct. As I left and walked by the volunteers, I just couldnt help myself and murmered Hoffman, baby, Hoffman! and they all smiled.
Mandated runoff? That’s not the way it works in NJ. The winner does not have to get 50% or more of the vote.
I don’t believe the Fairleigh Dickinson University poll at all.
Amen.
I’m a poll watcher (put up signs, hand out ballot examples, etc) for McDonnell in Richmond and turn out was light in a very conservative area. A rally at Richmond Airport had about 300 last night!
Also praying for the ACORN thugs to be kept at bay.
We should all be on the same sheet, call the talk shows, chat up workers, write letters to the editor.
This must all necessarily be made to go right back into the face of THE MESSIAH. Time is of the essence. Not sure if the Republic can even last until November 2010.

Agree with you about NJ. Disagree about NY23. Hoffman wins by 8 or 10 points-no court challenge. Close elections Demorats litigate and recount until they win.
Voted this morning in Fairfax County. The precinct voted 60% Democrat, 40% Republican last year. Turnout light.
Just got back -- Northern NJ commuting suburbs -- ditto -- seemed busier than it was in November 2008. Busier than usual for an off-year election. Saw no zombies voting, so I hope that bodes well for Christie. Fingers and toes crossed here.
Dede's 'husband' is a union officer all tied up with ACORN, Working Families Party and The New Party
Election outcome is what they're all about
.
OK, since we’re posting predictions:
NJ Gov:
Christie (R) 47%
Corzine (D) 43%
Daggett (I) 10%
VA Gov:
McDonnell (R) 57%
Deeds (D) 42%
NY-23:
Hoffman (C) 51%
Owens (D) 43%
Scozzafava (”R”) 6%
As a bonus, I will predict that the Maine referendum repealing the same-sex marriage law will be approved by 52%-48%. On a sad note, Democrat John Garamendi will defeat Republican David Harmer by 54%-46% in the 65%-Democrat CA-10, and the RNC and NRCC will still defend their decision to spend money trying to prop up that useless, unlelectable DIABLO Scozzafava in the NY-23 while not spending a dime to help the conservative (and electable) Harmer in the CA-10.

My polling place (heavily Republican) was mobbed. The turnout is equal to Presidential turnout from what I see.
For the NJ race, we should have 2 numbers: The legal vote and the "total" vote.
“We should all be on the same sheet, call the talk shows, chat up workers, write letters to the editor.”
I agree.
