(D) 283,501 44% Corzine

Did Essex County count votes yet? It has a big minority population.

43.9% reporting and it's gone very heavily for Corzine. 65 vs. 21. Here's a link to the map I'm watching which should help

I think the polls just closed there.... If Hoffman and Christie come through and it is a clean sweep...the momentum in the Conservative/Republicans' will build to an explosive 2010!!!!!!!!!!

And my parents didn’t talk much about it growing up, other than the importance of voting. I came to the conservative conclusion on my own. Now if only others my age would wake up from their liberal stupor...

Here's something to consider: assuming that there was a racial guilt element to people voting for Obama last year, wouldn't there be a similar phenomenon THIS year as well?

I think a significant number of people who had "racial guilt" in 2008, are just pissed off now.

All reports indicate turnout is way down among Dem areas. I think I’m convinced at this point that Christie “won” NJ. Whether he will be seated is another matter.

Good. I was so ticked off when I walked into the teachers room for lunch this afternoon to find propoganda for Corsine all over the place. They even supplied lunch to the teacher.

I didn't touch a bit of the food. When someone asked me if I was voting for Corzine I told them I would never vote for someone who supported abortion.

That shut them up fast.
