Cavuto is cautioning that the big dem counties have yet to be counted so we shouldnt get too excited in NJ as its too close to call.
Rove is saying the same, but that Christie looks to be running 1 to 2 points ahead of "where he needs to be".

I had the same experience as soon as K left the study. Instantaneous!

The early exit polls in Virginia and New Jersey are in (out?) and the most striking thing to us in the data is that a majority of voters in both states said that President Barack Obama was not a factor in their vote[...]
Here's something to consider: assuming that there was a racial guilt element to people voting for Obama last year, wouldn't there be a similar phenomenon THIS year as well?
IOW, Obama might be a factor ... THE factor, even ... but voters simply aren't admitting it to exit pollsers because they don't want to be seen, publicly anyways, as being against Obama.

The person ahead of me, when approached by the Demo pollster with a sample ballot, said "Pass - and hey, how's that change thing workin' for ya?" I almost fell over! It was SO nice to see the look on the Demo's face...:-)

That is a big fraud area-—I hope they are not hauling in the bags of —ahem—found votes to make sure they have more than Christie has. I hope the lawyers and poll watchers are astute there(Repubbies). I wonder if the ACORN or Black Brotherhood people will show up and scare some off.
To: mware
the last area to ALWAYS finish counting in my state is Seattle....and coincidentally, that is where most problems arise....lost ballots, incomplete ballots, illegal ballots, provisional ballots, etc...
I think a coordinated response by pubs or conservatives is to mail in your ballot late on the night of the election...make sure you get it postmarked....
that way, the big city cronies won't know how many votes to manufacture...because OUR ballots won't be in for a few days...
this really should be tried...

Essex, Passaic, and Camden counties still need to be counted. These are HUGE Democratic counties.

possibly. but where voters may have cared about black last yr this year the color is green, and voters have a lot less of it since Obama took office.

HORSERACE
Those Independents? Lots of Them Used to Be Republicans
I would note that for the past year, we’ve been hearing about how fewer and fewer voters self-identify as Republicans; thus, pollsters insist, Republicans make up a smaller percentage of the electorate than they have in many years.
Of course, most of those frustrated departing Republicans, angry over Bush, or McCain, or high spending, or Mark Foley, or Harriet Miers, or what have you, go on to become independents; very few voters flip directly from one party to another overnight.
So you end up with a pool of independents that is more conservative, and more dominated by anti-tax, anti-spending ex-Republicans. And then, in this election, we’ve seen the atmosphere shaped by runaway spending by a Democratic Congress and a Democratic president, with unemployment approaching 10 percent.
So we shouldn’t be that surprised to see Republicans winning independents by a wide margin; not too long ago, those voters identified themselves as Republicans.
