The New York GOP has now had two troubled special elections and it is clear they should go to a primary nominating system so everyone will feel it was fair and open.Oh, so now it's okay to tell the local GOP what to do??? Does Gingrich think we can't remember what he said THREE DAYS AGO?!?!

Newt, buy a clue! She dropped out to help the Democrat. That is not the "right thing". Exactly. Newt still doesn't get it.

“Oh boy, I never thought I would see the day when Newt Gingrich was attacked for being too liberal....”
In my opinion Newt has always and will always be looking out for Newt. He talks Reagan talk because Reagan's conservative principals are popular. But when Newt thinks he will do better leaning moderate he will drop any and all conservative principals if it helps Newt. Why he even loved sitting on a couch all cozy with Nancy Polutesy talking about how we must stop global warming!
He finally has lost his cover and we all now know he is nothing but a go with the flow RINO!

The race has evolved into a contest between a conservative and a pro-Pelosi, tax increase, big government liberal Democrat. Vice a contest between a Democrat and a pro-Pelosi, tax increase, big government liberal Republican.

This is priceless! Newt backed her, even though she was a FLAMING RINO; and now he's out with a statement for the sake of DAMAGE CONTROL.
Newt has been loosing cred with me for some time now, and I think it's apparent that he's sold his soul to the devil, for the sake of being on the Talk show rosters.

The race has evolved into a contest between a conservative and a pro-Pelosi, tax increase, big government liberal Democrat. And before Scuzzy droped out it was a contest between a conservative and two pro-Pelosi, tax increase, big government liberal Democrats.
Too late Newt. Please retire. You missed the bus.

Absolutely correct, Newt needs to go. He’s shown that he has absolutely no clue in what he’s doing now.

Posts on this thread are a great read and express my own opinion well. Thanks to all. Newt has exposed himself as a political opportunist of the worst sort. We need principled people to hold office, not party hacks who are in this for themselves.

Better late than never Newt,
But Sarah had the courage to do what was right in the beginning.
Have Huckabee and RINO Romney got of their butts yet? The choice is simple at this point.

Newt, if you did not see Scozzafava as the Progressive-Liberal-Pelosi in RINO clothing that she is you are either dangerously incompetent or criminally corrupt.
Whichever it is, you do not represent me or my values. We need a Conservative Party!

Looks like Huckabee endorsed Hoffman about 1pm today.
Don’t see where RINO Romney has yet.

Maybe the left has something else on Newt that he keeps walzing with them? Remember the 500+ FBI files found in Hillary's possession? Does it make sense that Newt's file would be one of those she would want to see/photocopy?
