He wasn’t in Congress yet, but has voted against the bailout bills and abhors TARP.

Didn’t McClintock vote for TARP? --------------------------- He's a conservative california politician, not a national rep but he was against TARP. McClintock is one of the few level headed politicians in Sacramento.

oops, sorry for the bad info. I was in error that McClintock was not a congressman. He is. Sorry for the error. I was so used to him being in Sacramento.
