Didn’t McClintock vote for TARP? --------------------------- He's a conservative california politician, not a national rep but he was against TARP. McClintock is one of the few level headed politicians in Sacramento.

McClintock is a Congressman now, he was elected last year after spending 20+ years in Sacramento.

You are right. It looks like he wasnt in Congress yet to vote on TARP. He DID however, vote to tax bonuses (which were contractually obligated) received by employees of firms that received TARP money at 90%.
