Mohammad was a trader -- the only big religion 'founder' that was very much concerned with economic issues (Moses was a basically an Egyptian prince, Sidharta too, was a prince, and Jesus was a carpenter). So, some of Islamic economic teachings are related to market. Now, if one day there's a fierce pro-market candidate, but happens to be a Muslim, will conservatives support him? How about a gay candidate, like Guido Westerwelle from Germany?
FYI: The German intellectual and professor who was put in charge of outreach to the Muslim community by the German government, concluded his research by saying he could find no historical evidence that Mohammad ever existed.
Oh?
What you checked out the MORMON Economic Empire?
It is VAST!
