Ive been to deepest, darkest Utah and I saw polygamy. Lots of it. Most of it was among the elderly. Women who had lost their husbands and were banded with other women in the same situation and tied to one man. It wasnt marriage as we would think of it. There are some obstacles even double doses of Viagra and prayer wont help. It was more of a spiritual union by old folks living out the remainder of their lives with like-minded folk in service to the Lord. Anywhere else it would be called a prayer circle. I have no objection to that and would, in fact, encourage it.
If you were a six-toed thumper from East Tennessee, you were allowed two wives so long as both were your sisters.
