Been a quiet hurricane season (Vanity)

Now that we're heading into the winding down period of hurricane seasons, what are the global warming "experts" saying about the season? It's been awfully quiet.

You may have noticed there is a West coast, and it’s a bit busier. “Rick” was a cat 5 off Mexican Baja.

This is true...I should’ve specified “Atlantic Hurricane season.”

I’d have to say that solar output trumps them all. The Sun’s been quiet.

I have been reading about some analogs where the sunspot activity has been this historically low and I'd agree with your hypothesis.

Texas & New Mexico have been getting wet from it. Can’t wait for El Nino myself, because AZ’s been dry as a desert...oh wait.

It’s because Bush took the weather machine with him when he left office. You know ......the one he used to terrorize minorities and create a crisis from which he could launch martial law.

I have it on good authority that the Weathermatic 2000 (manufactured by Halliburton) is in storage on the Crawford ranch property

it would be worth reviewing a bit of the history of the science on hurricanes and global warming, and how that science was ignored by the IPCC.

An apparent increase in the number of tropical storms and hurricanes over the last century is simply due to better observational tools, not global warming
