NOBODY REMEMBERS OBAMA AT COLUMBIA ( But heck, we're all just racist birthers...yea right! )

Looking for evidence of Obama's past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there, but none remembered him.

Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root says of Obama, "I don't know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me.

I don't have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever! Nobody recalls him. I'm not exaggerating, I'm not kidding." Root adds that he was also, like Obama, "Class of '83 political science, pre-law" and says, "You don't get more exact or closer than that. Never met him in my life, don't know anyone who ever met him.

At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me.

No one ever heard of Barack! And five years ago, nobody even knew who he was. The guy who writes the class notes, who's kind of the, as we say in New York, the macha who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him. Is that not strange?

It's very strange." Obama's photograph does not appear in the school's yearbook and Obama consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or friends while at Columbia.

NOTE: Root graduated as Valedictorian from his high school, Thornton-Donovan School, then graduated from Columbia University in 1983 as a Political Science major (in the same class as President Barack Obama WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN IN)

> Columbia verifed that he graduated in ‘83 (no honors).

Three questions:

1) Was he in Residence the entire time there, or was he in Correspondence or Exchange Programs from another country for some of his time there?

2) What was his coursework (not his MAJOR - and YES, it does matter)?

3) What NAME did he use and/or transfer under from Occidental College?

According to what I have found, Obama did not attend Colombia University, he attended Colombia Collge which is a prep school.

I cannot find anyone there who appeared to know him either.

You'd think ONE of Obama's University Profs would come forward to say what a brilliant student he was??

Or if not "brilliant", as least "breathing - alive - real" - you know - something.

If O’s class had 600 graduates then perhaps 40 never knew him.

But the article said that they polled 400, not 40. In any case, Columbia's website states that they have under 7000 undergrads, with an 88% graduation rate, so you can approximate 1500 graduates in any given year. Considering the number of clases that he would have taken to graduate and the number of people in each class, he would of had to interact with a fairly large percentage of the class population. The odds that not one single person from a large random sample of 400 not ever hearing of him is most likely astronomical. What's even more amazing is that both he and Mr. Root had the exact same major, yet never attended a single class together.

I wouldn’t expect everyone to know everyone, but I would expect someone to know someone - or know someone who knew someone. I hope this makes sense!

I was accused of not having gone to college by an employer 5 years ago. My boss who absolutely did not like me was not willing to hear my story and said I had 48 hours to produce it or I would be fired.

I started laughing so hard that every time he said “You think that is funny” I laughed even harder.

When I caught my breath I said to “So you would think after working for a few companies in 25 years and receiving notices, which are required under California law, that my prospect employer was doing a background check, someone would have caught this by now?

He called me liar straight to my face. Used the word liar. I said I would be back in the afternoon with my college transcripts and I expected an apology.

This guy was a class A smart ass.

So I come back with a copy from college that was notarized by them 5 hours later and he calls it a fraud.

Needless to say I was not in the mood to hear his BS again. I told him he just as easily call the college, they will verify my attendance and they will fax an exact copy of my transcripts.

It will look just like the one I hand you that was notarized under penalty of law, for which that person could go to jail.

I said “What, you think I had time to create a transcript in 5 hours and print it on paper that comes by the spool?”.

He did call the college and since I left written authorization with them specifically for this event, they did indeed fax my transcript, which amazingly looked like the one I had handed him.

I wrote a letter to HR and my division VP, tried to transfer to another division and was told there were no slots.

I quit the following day.

That is another reason I look at Barry O. and say “well where are your bonafides?”

There seems to be a lot of violent people connected to columbia. It sounds like it nurtured people like ayers..sort of like a breeding ground for the outcasts of society. (I’m not saying all students who went there are suspect)

I agree about investigating the seiu, obama and ayers connection.. We need to know. (Can or will the code of silence be broken)

Yes, it’s possible to keep a very low profile, even at Columbia College. Obama attended only for the junior and senior years, lessening the chances that anyone would have remembered him, compared to someone who attended the full four years. When I was at Columbia (College ‘75) people generally looked down at General Studies which was perceived as having lower admission standards. Unfair perhaps, but that’s what people thought.

I don’t want to give the impression that I’m defending Obama. On the the contrary, in many respects his critical thinking abilities do not compare well with those who have undertaken rigorous liberal arts studies.
