Two normally savvy observers weighed in on Sen. Harry Reid

Reid has hope as long as acorn exist.
Nevada ping
Keep drinking the Kool-Aid, Democrats. Nevada isn’t South Dakota. But Tom Daschle isn’t the slime ball that Harry Reid is, either.
Maybe because Nevada is a much more corrupt state than SD is?
Oooh, thanks for posting that comment. Nice to get inside info.
BTT...
Not if I can help it. I live in AZ and I will send $100 to Tarkanian to nail the door shut on Reid. I’ve already sent him $10 in the $10 for Tark campaign by Hugh Hewitt and I will send more. Please consider doing the same so I don’t have to see or hear that disgusting Reid ever again.
LV Sum is the Dem party run fishwrap .
I think this time, Harry is toast.
This is of course assuming this Country still exists as America and we have legitimate elections
The author also forgets that Obama hurt Las Vegas bad when he told companies their days of flying to Vegas for a convention were over. Reid was silent.
Why there’s hope for Reid?
Cause he is a product of the Vegas and Nevada Mob.
Don’t matter if he wins or loses. The fix will be in for this Obammy troll.
I think this will change with one major realization by the voters of Clark county. This realization is that if the Democrat majority continues, it will not be long before they turn their hatred and greed against gaming.
What do Democrats see when they look at the gaming industry? They see money that they can take to advance their agenda, and who cares what Nevada wants?
For the most part, Republicans have a “live and let live” attitude towards gaming outside of their own State. They even enjoy the idea of Las Vegas as a “tourist Mecca”. But Democrats only see money that they can take away from Nevada.
Remember how Al Gore sneeringly despised those who were “Winners in life’s lottery” (even though he is one of them)? They see winning and losing as being essentially “unfair”, and importantly, something that the government should intrude into, to make “more fair”. “More fair” from their point of view.
So the only question becomes, “How will the Democrats try to destroy gaming?” Will they raise taxes on winners so high that it is not worth it to try? Or will they go even beyond that and make a “play” tax, so that win or lose, gamers will have to pay the government taxes?
What in the world could dingy Harry Reid promise Nevada that would make up for the loss of the gaming industry? He couldn’t stop his fellow Democrats, any more than he could stop them from putting nuclear waste in Nevada. When they want what is Nevada’s, they will take it, no matter what excuse they use.
Nevada needs to face the facts. They need elected leaders who will watch out for their interests, instead of sacrificing Nevada for some idealistic nonsense preached by unrepentant Marxists, radicals who in other countries would execute people for gaming.
Embracing them is like clutching a rattlesnake to your chest.
Reid will continue to win as long as the Little old ladies from Searchlight, NV. live on.
And the mormons will vote 90% for the mormon, regardless of what they claim.
Thats what Markos Moulitsas thinks.
Stopped reading right there. If you had to scrape that far down the barrel to find a Harry lover then you're in deep trouble.
This is just whistling past the graveyard. The Sun used to be a seperate liberal newspaper in Vegas, but because of poor readership, it ended up as an insert in the Las Vegas Review Journal. I scan through it as I would other sections just to see the alternate universe they live in.
If Nevada does not throw Reid to the wolves this election cycle, I have no hope for the rest of the country!
Exactly. Huge ACORN presence, huge vote fraud - they go hand in hand.
Harry sent me an email this week. They are opening a “Latinos for Harry Reid” front as their latest attempt to get more votes here in Nevada.
