The estimable Mr. Hanson grants Obama too much slack: Zero & crew certainly have a moral compass and knowledge of history - they just make a conscious decision to travel south.

I agree. Their utter consistency in their hatred of America and embrace of communism eliminates ignorance or sloppiness as an excuse. They absolutely know exactly where they're going and why. Excellent piece by Hanson, nonetheless.

I dont think this is quite fair. After all Mao killed upwards to 70 million of his own people while Obama’s friend and adviser, William Ayers indicated that only 25 million hard core capitalists “would need to be eliminated”.

Yeah, but that estimate was from the 70's when the population was a lot smaller. 25 Million then was about 1/4 of the population. Now, at 300 million, 70 million is about 1/4th.
