How about I just amend my statement. I think that would be easier.
Orginal statement “The problem is that CPS should investigate PHYSICAL and SEXUAL abuse.”
Amended statement “The problem is that the POLICE should investigate physical, sexual and psychological/emotional/mental abuse.
I think CPS should be done away with. Alot of authority and no accountability.

This leaves alot open for interpretation.
Bad parenting with cussing children who burp and pass gas is not in this category. That is my argument.
I guess my problem with the whole “mental abuse” terminology is that people want to use it to describe anything a parent does that they think is bad for the children. That is an injustice to people who are really abused.
