I was sort of thinking a holiday would be preferable to yet another day of agenda indoctrination in school. I think the conservatives should push for an actual day off. I am so tired of school time being spent on political and social agendas instead of reading and math. Ideally school would be half days concentrating on academics and afternoons optional if they want to do all this other non academic stuff.

This is not a good thing and when the Anti-gay backlash comes (as it will as sure as God made little green apples) this will be a target. Gays are only 2% of the Population and to cave in to them, and dump good Bible Believing Christians of all races for them is foolish. Remember Prop 8! Why did it pass? Yes, he’s not very popular these days. The California Legislature only gets a 13% approval rating. Now that’s downright dismal.
Milk was the cover man at City Hall for Rev. Jim Jones of the people’s Temple. 980 people “drank the Kool-aide” because of him. Jones had Musconi and Milk whacked, because he was taking everyone with him.
What is the history of Milk beyond what’s on the wikipedia page.
He was the most famous (or infamous) queer to be gunned down. Oh, and some also considered him a “civil rights leader”. Other than that I don’t know.
I have no evidence Jones was behind the death of Muscone and Milk, but it is known that Milk was a shill for Jones. It’s really an Obama nation that the “girly man†Governor is giving this pedophile undeserved recognition.
