and anything that would satisfy the insurance industry enough for them to cease fire would surely not include the public option, setting off the libs. Pass the popcorn...
After the Senate and House Amend the sh*t out of it, it goes back into committee for reconciliation, where it will come back totally unrecognizable. Forget anything you read about cost, mandates, or whether there is or is not a "public option". It's a potempkin bill, an empty shell that the Dems will fill up with what they REALLY wanted to pass. It'll come up for vote in crisis mode with the ink still wet and without the sheeple's knowledge, because they wouldn't like what's being put over on them.
I doubt the unions will have a problem with the final form of the bill, it's you and me that are going under the bus.

Not to worry. If your in a union you don’t have to pay taxes or health care costs because you work for the government. Unions were a good idea at one time but now they are just another pig at the trough.
LOL. All the pundits are claiming this is a “big win” for Obama because this POS made it out of some senate committee.....when in reality it is dead on arrival. The REAL bill will be written in secret by Obama, Axelrod, Reid, Pelosi, some union thugs, and perhaps some lefty activists from the likes of Moveon, Center for American Progress, etc. That is when the REAL vote will take place.
Considering that the Baucus bill was just barely un-socialist enough to attract the most liberal Republican to support it in committee, the prospects do not look good overall.....especially when it seems that the insurers, hospitals, AMA, and drug companies seem to finally realizing that their “deals” struck with Obama mean absolutely nothing.
Keep up the pressure, folks. Despite what the MSM says, healthcare “reform”, aka ObamaCare, is NOT inevitable.
To hell with George W. Bush. He was pro-amnesty for illegals, and expanded government at unprecedented levels.
Yep that and they just figured out that they have the insurace plans that will fall into the taxation catagory.
